“What do you think?
Well…I think it’s disgusting.
It looks like the beginning of a play.”

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to tech. Around you, a company of 14 is engaged in the very peculiar—and peculiarly impossible—task of making a new play. You’ll have a seat next to the sound designer as he mixes cues. You’ll eavesdrop on backstage gossip as it happens over headset. You’ll watch the director struggle to contain the uncontainable.

Anne Washburn (Mr. Burns) took notes during her tech rehearsals over the years. Directed by Les Waters, 10 out of 12 is a wry and absorbing look at how work forms us and deforms us. A Soho Rep. commission made possible, in part, by Joe Robertson.

Funding for this production is provided, in part, by the Venturous Theater Fund of the Tides Foundation.

Set Design by David Zinn, Lighting Design by Justin Townsend, Sound Design by Bray Poor, Costume Design by Ásta Bennie Hostetter, Props by George Hoffmann & Greg Kozatek; Production Stage Manager: Amanda Spooner, Production Manger: Jeff Drucker, Company Manager: Sizo Kunene, Casting: Jack Doulin, C.S.A. Illustration: Riki Blanco.

Featuring: Quincy Tyler Bernstine, Jeff Biehl, Gibson Frazier, Rebecca Hart, Nina Hellman, Sue Jean Kim, Bruce McKenzie, Garrett Neergaard, Bray Poor, David Ross, Thomas Jay Ryan, Conrad Schott, Wendy Rich Stetson and Leigh Wade.

99-cent Sunday tickets for 10 OUT OF 12 will be offered on June 7 and June 14. Tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis one-hour prior to each performance. 99-Cent Sundays for 10 OUT OF 12 are sponsored by Jody Falco & Jeffrey Steinman and TheaterMania.

Limited rush tickets ($30 or $20 for students with valid ID) are available for most performances on a first-come, first-served basis and are distributed 15-minutes prior to each performance. You have the best chance of securing rush tickets at Saturday and Sunday performances.
