We are thrilled that Jackie Sibblies Drury’s FAIRVIEW will be remounted by Theatre for a New Audience at Polonsky Shakespeare Center in June 2019! Especially given the small size of our house (and the devoted standby lines!), we are so excited for thousands more New Yorkers to experience Jackie’s writing and to feel the work reverberate beyond the walls of our small theater.
FAIRVIEW was commissioned in 2015, and was developed over 3 years and multiple Studio workshops, before its world premiere at Soho Rep.’s tiny 65-seat theater. FAIRVIEW exemplifies how Soho Rep. builds relationships with artists over time, and how those long-term relationships generate powerful work with a far-reaching impact on audiences, the artists themselves, and our organization. Our closest supporters provide the critical funds to make work like FAIRVIEW, and the process of making it, possible.
TFANA also has great deals for students of any age and fans aged 30 and under with their New Deal program, which you can read about here.
