This special performance of Zawe Ashton‘s for all the women who thought they were Mad will be followed by a post-show discussion that will discuss systemic racism within our healthcare system and how those issues are portrayed and grappled with in Ashton’s writing.
Featuring Dána-Ain Davis (author of Reproductive Injustice: Racism, Pregnancy, and Premature Birth) and dir. Whitney White (for all the women who thought they were Mad). Moderated by WNYC reporter Veralyn Williams.
