Playwright Clare Barron, who wrote her Obie-award winning play You Got Older in The Writer/Director Lab, has a fabulous and funky new music-theater piece at The Bushwick Starr. Based on Clare’s very own teenage diary entries, I’ll Never Love Again is a funny, heartbreaking, raunchy show about sexuality and teenage identity. Staged at one of Brooklyn’s most intimate venues, we are so pleased to see more of the Barron oeuvre in our midst! To boot, it is directed by the terrific – and current – Lab member Michael Leibenluft. Double reason to see this sterling piece of theater!
