Looking at a workshop with Erik Ehn

A Free Masterclass with Erik Ehn: ‘What The Silence Requires Is That I Speak’

On Saturday December 1st, forty people took part in the FEED -produced Masterclass by world famous playwright and teacher Erik Ehn. Erik came to Soho Rep in conjunction with Jackie Sibblies Drury’s WE ARE PROUD TO PRESENT… (Jackie was Erik’s student at Brown University when she wrote the play.)  WE ARE PROUD TO PRESENT…intertwines two major themes: genocide and art, two subjects Erik has spent a career examining. Erik’s masterclass was open to EVERYBODY and ANYBODY and centered on writing exercises. Ehn modeled how to talk about things for which you can’t find words.

Here are photographs from the day:

Are all the observation spots sold out as well? I wanted to sign up.
    Thank you!

Unfortunately it is all sold out. However you might want to try coming down on the day as invariably people won’t show. Good luck!

I would like to participate as an observer. Is that available? Thank you.

All of the slots have been taken, however I’d recommend coming down on the day as invariably people won’t show.

I would love to attend as a participant or observer if anything opens up – and will come down on the day if I don’t hear from you!
