Soho Rep’s 2010 Dorothy Strelsin Fellow is playwright Branden Jacobs-Jenkins. With this fellowship, Branden is given the support of the theater in whatever capacity he chooses: it could be a workshop reading at the end of the season, dramaturgical advice from our Literary Department, or the use of a quiet place to write. He is the second Strelsin Fellow, following on from Tom Bradshaw last season.

In this podcast, which we hope serves as an introduction to Branden and his background, hear him discuss his roots in writing and what he hopes to accomplish over the course of his tenure at Soho Rep.
